Artist comment:  This painting was inspired by one of my many trips to Florida.  During a long stay over the summer months, I was lucky enough to get regular visits from a family of Sandhill Cranes that I grew to be very fond of.  They are fascinating birds, highly intelligent and have intriguing personalities.  For anyone who knows and loves Florida, this painting, in its pure simplicity is a great representation of wild Florida.
