Artist comment: ‘Disappear’ represents those moments when we feel so overwhelmed by our concerns that we want to curl up and become invisible, so that we feel shielded and protected. The vast amount of black symbolises how we can become lost in thoughts when we feel our worries are consuming our lives, whilst the small, broken mirror piece represents a single tear drop, emphasising how insignificant and desperate we can feel when at our lowest.
