Volunteer Work

Live Art at the London Youth Games, Crystal Palace Park with Somewhereto_ (30th June 2012)

Somewhereto_ (an organisation that helps 16 – 25 year olds find unique places to do the things they love for free) asked me to help them organise a Live Graffiti Art event at the 2012 London Youth Games at Crystal Palace Park to promote street art in a positive light, with the hope of changing people’s perception of this up and coming art form. The end result was fantastic, graffiti artists Riece Ranson and Morgan Davy combined their individual styles together to create a colourful collaborative piece whilst Sachin Limbachia produced an inspiring illustrative piece. The day was a great success, with plenty of interest and positive comments from passers-by. I was also selected as the London Volunteer of the Month for my involvement with this project.
