Artist comment: ‘WAR’ draws attention to the harsh reality of the state of the world, through the use of shocking imagery. The black colour creates a sense of emptiness and despair, the streaks of red symbolise death and destruction, and the ghost like faces are the lost tortured souls of war screaming out in misery, pain, fear and anger.
